Privacy Policy

We collect the minimum we need to read stories to your family in your voice. We never record children. We never sell your data. We never use your family's audio to train AI models.

Account information: your email address and sign-in details. Voice recordings: the voice samples and consent statements that consenting adults record. Child profiles: a first name and an age range only, chosen by you. Usage: which stories are played, so the app works and we can improve the library. Payment details are handled by Stripe, our payment processor; we never see your card number.

Lulani is an app for parents. Children listen through a locked player and are never recorded; we collect no personal information from children. A child profile is a first-name label and an age range, created and controlled by the parent, and we ask for nothing more, by design.

Voice recordings are biometric in nature, so we treat them with extra care. They are stored encrypted, used only to create your family's synthetic voices and read stories, shared only with the voice technology providers that perform that processing under contracts that forbid any other use, and deleted when you delete the voice or your account.

Only the service providers that run Lulani: cloud hosting and database (Vercel, Supabase), voice synthesis (ElevenLabs, Cartesia), story generation (Anthropic), and payments (Stripe). Each receives only what it needs to do its job. We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it for advertising.

You can delete any voice, any story, any child profile, or your entire account at any time, and deletion is permanent. You can ask us for a copy of your data, or ask questions about it, at hello@lulani.app. We answer within 30 days.

If we change this policy in any material way, we will tell you by email or in the app before the change takes effect.
